In South Africa, a Code B driver’s license allows you to drive light motor vehicles, including:
- Motorcycles with an engine capacity not exceeding 125cc, but not motor tricycles or motor quadricycles.
- Vehicles with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) not exceeding 3,500 kg.
- Vehicles that are constructed or permanently converted to transport no more than 16 people, including the driver.
- Vehicles that are constructed or permanently converted to transport goods and have a GVM not exceeding 3,500 kg.
